From the balcony of her new room, Vinyl looked out in awe upon the open grounds of the academy. The moon shone brightly above them and cast shadows from the rows of bushes and marble statues. The gardens were empty and quiet, save the sound of chirping crickets and the hush of the central fountain at the heart of the academy park. From her high tower, she gazed in wonder at the carved likenesses of countless ponies, great musicians from the academy all, as they smiled, bowed, and gestured while holding stone lyres, marble violas and intricately detailed cellos.
